Our Story

A Letter From The Founder

Galalima: Gala is taken from a book in the Bible called Galatians, while Lima means 5 in Indonesian. The name was chosen after a vision that came to one of our founders in a dream prior to any construction that was ever done to our location. The book itself talks about the fruits of the spirit such as love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. After looking at the passage, we wanted to create a special environment where people from all different backgrounds could come and hit pause on work and embark on a journey to self-discovery.
ARCHITECTURE
Every single detail of our tents tell a story. We work with Indonesian architect who partnered with Italian Designer to create a mix of Eastern & Western masterpiece.
Meditative Surrounding

Along the building process, we never really planned to have such a meditative spiritual experience until we actually stayed there. Our plan for the future is to enhance and share this experience with people who are seeking self-discovery, starting a new chapter of life, or anyone who loves nature..

FURNITURE
Our furniture are supplied locally and most of our amenities are plant based. We love to think about sustainability for our textiles, bedding and furniture.
